Refrigerator Icemaker Water Filter Adapter Kit 3/8":

The Refrigerator Icemaker Water Filter Adapter Kit allows you to connect your water filtration system to your refrigerator icemaker or other additional point of use. This kit includes the parts needed to "tee" off from an existing water line and connect to your refrigerator.

Refrigerator Icemaker Water Filter Adapter Kit 3/8" Includes:

- 15' of 1/4" OD LLDPE tubing

- qty. 1 - 3/8" x 3/8" x 1/4" union tee

- qty. 1 - 1/4" x 1/4" inline ball valve

- qty. 1 - 1/4" x 1/4" union

- qty. 1 - tubing cutter

Installation Instructions:

Step 1: Locate the tube that runs from your water filter system to the separate faucet and place a bucket or bowl under the tube.

Step 2: Shut off the water to your filter system.

Step 3: Using the included tubing cutter, cut the tube 5'' to 10'' past the point the tube comes out of your filter system and let the water drain into the bucket.

Step 4: Take the tee fitting and slide one of the 2 ends that are aligned on to the tubing. Pull on it gently to ensure that it is secure.

Step 5: Connect the other side to the other end of the cut tube that goes to your faucet.

Step 6: Connect the 15' of tubing into the "branch" side of the tee fitting and pull on it gently to make sure it is secure.

Step 7: 5'' to 10'' down the 15' tube, cut it and connect the Inline shutoff valve. Making sure the connections are secure so you have no leaks. This valve will allow you to shut off the water to your icemaker/refrigerator in the future for filter changes.

Step 8: Connect the remaining end of the 15' tubing to your refrigerator/ice maker. A 1/4" x 1/4" union is included in the kit if needed.

NOTE: When you change the filters in your water filter system, shut off the Inline valve until you have completed the filter change and thoroughly flushed the new filters in your system.
