Everpure Replacement Cartridges
Since Superior Water Systems is one of the principle distributors of Everpure products in the United States, we often find our customers asking questions about their Everpure products. Most common are questions and concerns about their Everpure replacement cartridges. Below, we'll let you know how often you should change your cartridges, and how to go about changing them. There is no definite answer as to how often you will need to change an Everpure replacement cartridge. It depends on your water quality and your water usage. If there are a lot of contaminants in your water, you will need to change more frequently. You can tell when it's time to change your cartridge when the performance falters--the flow rate or pressure will decline or you may notice a different taste in the water. When it's time to change a cartridge, the first thing you need to do is to turn off the power. Next, turn off the water supply and open the flushing valve to reduce pressure. Now, while holding the head, turn the cartridge left 1/4 turn and pull it down out of the head. Now take an Everpure replacement cartridge and align its lug with the label on the head and insert it. Next turn the cartridge to the right 1/4 turn to secure it. You can now turn on the water supply, and after flushing the system, reconnect the power supply.
